Weekend in the Keys

Just got back from Glen and Caren's wedding in the Keys.   We stayed at a resort on Duck Key called Hawk Cay.  Not a bad weekend!   We spent saturday relaxi
ng by the pool and lagoon before heading
to the tiny private 4 acre island that Glen and Caren were staying on for the wedding itself.  We took a limo to the little wooden ferry that brought us to the "little cay island"  with Gumby Slumber cocktails awaiting us on the dock.  Lots of traveling for a few hours but it was well worth it.  I was even able to fulfill one if my lifetime dreams of "swimming" with the dolphins.   I really only got a kiss and treaded water with the dolphins but I was in the water for an hour or so and it was still awesome.

Only about 20 of us were there to experience this wedding but it will be aired on the WE channel (women and entertainment or something like that) as one of the top wedding destinations.    I will let you know when it will be on.

The wedding was on the dock and after the pictures a bunch of storms started up in the distance and I got a tornado/water spout forming on film.   A bit dark but I think you can make it out OK.  I was very exited!

The kids stayed with Grammy Pam (Brett's mom) and had a great time with family and the two dogs (Hallie and Petu)  not sure how to spell those.   Amazing how on time we were to everything when we only had to get ourselves out and ready.   Missed them lots but it is good to "miss" each other once and a while if you know what I mean!  :)
